RETAILER AWARD CATEGORIES

THE RADAR AWARD. FOR RETAILERS WHO HAVE UPPED THEIR LICENSING ACTIVITIES IN THE LAST YEAR

Open to: This award is for retailers who have come on the radar on the licensing front as they have considerably upped their licensing activities in the last year

BEST RETAILER OF PRESCHOOL LICENSED PRODUCTS (AGE GROUP 0-5)

Open to: Any UK based retailers of any discipline selling licensed products aimed at the preschool market (children aged 0-5 years).  This is for activity over the last year.

BEST RETAILER OF KIDS LICENSED PRODUCTS (AGE GROUP 5-16)

Open to: Any UK based retailers of any disipline selling licensed products aimed at the kids market (children aged 5 - 16 years). This is for activity over the last year.

BEST RETAILER OF ADULT LICENSED PRODUCTS

Open to: any UK based retailers of any discipline selling licensed products aimed at adults. (These can include retailers selling licensed merchandise such as those based on sports, entertainment, celebrity, heritage, art & design or FMCG brands). This is for activity over the last year.

BEST OVERSEAS RETAILER

Open to: Retailers of any discipline selling licensed products whose main retailing activity is overseas (ie not in the UK), but which also has a physical or online presence in the UK. The award is for the retailer’s activity on the licensing front over the last year.

BEST LICENSED RETAIL MARKETING INITIATIVE

Open to: This award is for the most creative and effective marketing campaign run in a UK retailer to support a licensed brand or range of licensed products or individual product. The campaign could cover any kind of marketing communication, including all forms of advertising and PR,  or any in-store initiative or activation for any licensed brand or licensed product or range of products being sold through a UK retailer - either online or bricks and mortar. The campaign must have appeared in the UK market during the period 1 April 2019 – 31 May 2020. It could have been part of a broader European campaign, but it is the execution on the UK market that is to be judged.
