The Licensing Awards have truly become accolades to strive for; their integrity is unquestioned and unparalleled as an endorsement of excellence.
The awards event itself in The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, really is an extravaganza that befits the dynamism of this unique industry. In 2019 over 1400 licensors, licensees and retailers attended an exciting awards evening that was enjoyed by all, unifying many key licensing industry executives in a wonderfully celebratory atmosphere.
The UK licensing industry is dynamic, innovative, consumer-reflective and fun. The Licensing Awards reflect all of this and much more. Be a part of it!
The awards categories cover all aspects of the UK licensing industry. Retailer Awards – for retailers of licensed merchandise, Product Awards – for ranges of licensed products, Property Awards – for specific licensed properties including the Best Licensed Retail Marketing Initiative, the Best Licensed Promotions Campaign Award – for a specific licensed promotion, and a special award for Honorary Achievement.
2020 saw the addition of The Sustainability Award and the Best Licensed Live Event Award, reflecting changes and advances in the way that brands are engaging with consumers, and the manner with which they’re doing so.
The 2021 Event…
Following the digital awards in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the intention is to return to the live event on Tuesday 14 September 2021 in The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Contracts are signed and we have every intention to return with aplomb, as demanded by all of you who missed the big bash!
We will of course be monitoring the situation daily, as we did last year, and assure all guests that ticket and table bookings are fully refundable, without penalty, should the pandemic alter these plans.
