There are a number of other categories for The Licensing Awards 2020 that are now open for entry.

- Licensing International Rising Stars Award – licensors, licensees and retailers can download a form to nominate a young professional. Deadline for your nomination is August 7 2020.

- Best Licensed Live Event – this NEW category can only be entered online. Deadline for entry is August 7 2020.

- Best Licensed Promotions Campaign – this can only be entered online. Deadline for entry is August 7 2020.

- Honorary Achievement Award – nominations are sought online from all involved in the industry. Deadline for your nomination is August 7 2020.

- The Sustainability Award - this NEW product category can only be entered online. Deadline for entry is August 7 2020.

- Best Licensed Retail Marketing Initiative – this can only be entered online. Deadline for entry is August 7 2020.

LICENSING INTERNATIONAL UK RISING STARS AWARD

Open to: This is a Licensing International UK award and nominations must be made on line. The award is designed to recognise excellence among junior industry professionals in the United Kingdom under the age of 35 with a minimum three to maximum seven years of experience in licensing. Nominations can be for rising stars from licensors, licensees or retail.

BEST LICENSED LIVE EVENT

Open to: This award is for a licensed live event where the public needs to pay to participate, either by paying to enter a venue where the licensed event takes place or to participate directly in the licensed event itself - this includes theatrical shows and events, fairground rides or events within paid for experiences (for example - a licensed area within a theme park) Free to consumer experiential marketing events should be entered into the Promotional marketing award. To qualify the live event needs to have been launched/taken place (it must be a new live event or a update to an existing live event) between June 1 2019 and May 31 2020.

BEST LICENSED PROMOTIONS CAMPAIGN

Open to: This Award will be presented to the most creative and effective use of a licence in the promotion of another brand or service.The campaign can cover any kind of promotional communication including TV advertising, poster campaign, on pack promotion or sponsorship for any product or service related to a brand other than the licensed property itself. It can cover the promotion of a charity. To qualify for inclusion the licence involved MUST be promoting the use of another product or service. Campaigns that promoting a range of licenced goods within a retail outlet should be entered into the retail awards section.The campaign must have appeared in the UK market during the period 1 April 2019 - 31st May 2020. It could have been part of a broader European campaign, but it is the execution in the UK market that is judged.

THE HONORARY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Open to: This special award is given to someone who has contributed greatly to the licensing industry.

THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

Open to: This special new product award is for one licensed item or range of any discipline and will recognise and reward a licensed product’s/range’s credentials on a sustainability front. The products had to be launched into UK retail between June 1 2019 and May 31 2020.

BEST LICENSED RETAIL MARKETING INITIATIVE

Open to: This award is for the most creative and effective marketing campaign run in a UK retailer to support a licensed brand or range of licensed products or individual product. The campaign could cover any kind of marketing communication, including all forms of advertising and PR,  or any in-store initiative or activation for any licensed brand or licensed product or range of products being sold through a UK retailer - either online or bricks and mortar. The campaign must have appeared in the UK market during the period 1 April 2019 – 31 May 2020. It could have been part of a broader European campaign, but it is the execution on the UK market that is to be judged.
